I saw my friend Michelle do some of these “getting to know you” questions, and it sounded like fun. I picked some different questions that I found randomly online, because why not? So, let’s see what there is to see, shall we?
Do you have any strange phobias?
I don’t know how strange it is, but I have a thing about closet doors being closed when I’m alone at night. (too many murder mysteries when I was a kid) Luckily that almost never happens anymore what with the kid and the husband and all.
Do you sleep with or without clothes on?
With. A small child who shows up in our bed at random points makes that a necessity in my mind.
If you are outside, what are you most likely doing?
Chasing around after my 3 year old. Or sitting and having a margarita. Depends on the day.
Simple but extremely complex. Favorite band?
Of all time? My current answer would probably be a tie between Pink Floyd & Queen.

Yes. I think sometimes it’s slow to show up, but I do think it does eventually.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Justin Timberlake. No, no, wait. Robert Downey Jr. No, no, wait. Daniel Craig (but mainly as James Bond). No, no, wait. Ok, maybe I just like pretty guys.
What’s a sound you hate; sound you love?
Hate: The fire alarm in my building. It is seriously loud enough to do damage to our ears. Faucet drips, particularly non-rhythmic ones. The whistle that my car makes recently.
Love: Besides the cheesy answer of my kid’s laugh: steady rain, the ocean, windchimes.
Choose: East Coast or West Coast?
West. All the way.

Goodreads tells me it was Schroder. It was…ok.

Watched Pitch Perfect this weekend. I loved loved loved it.

I screwed up my knee in high school, which required surgery. 10 years later had to have surgery on the same knee after hurting it at ComicCon. I don’t even know.
What’s the last thing you purchased?
A lobster roll. And before that eyebrow pencils.

The version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole
What is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?

Of all time: going to University of Arizona for college, because all the rest of my life would have been DRASTICALLY different had I not.
What’s the last song you listened to?
Scream and Shout by will.i.am w/Britney Spears.
What is your current desktop picture?
A macro of some pink poppies.
You accidentally eat some radioactive vegetables. They were good, and what’s even cooler is that they endow you with the super-power of your choice! What is that power?
To fly, for sure. Then I could go see all the people I miss around the country.
You can re-live any point of time in your life. The time-span can only be a half-hour, though. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again?
Hmmm. Maybe my wedding ceremony & the first 10 minutes after? Or the morning my husband proposed? Those were both pretty awesome half hours.
You just got a free plane ticket to anywhere. You have to depart right now. Where are you gonna go?
I’m assuming my husband gets one too, and we have a babysitter also. And then I’m going to say Italy.
