12 Ways That I Am Doing The Internet “Wrong”

by Ginger on January 25, 2013

in Blogging & Social Media

  1. I don’t feel the need to comment with an opposing opinion on every single article/image/post/fb status/etc. out there.
  2. I try to think before I type.
  3. I leave parts of my life (and the lives of my family members) private.
  4. I don’t court controversy.
  5. I try to think about how what I write might affect other people.
  6. I try to remember that the internet is written in ink.
  7. I don’t often need to have the last word.
  8. I don’t feel the need to share all my opinions on every single thing (doesn’t mean I don’t HAVE opinions, just that I don’t share them all).
  9. I actively avoid most online controversies.
  10. I realize there are shades of gray for most things.
  11. I realize that I’m not always right.
  12. I prefer relationships to page views.

Hmmm. No WONDER I’m not a mega-blogger.

#1-12: ME TOO.

I just. Don’t get it. All the crazy that goes along with blogging these days. I just write. About whatever. I have the same core group of blog friends I’ve had for years, and that’s perfect for me.
