The End! And Some Other Snippets

Well, it’s November 30th, and I have made it posting every day in November. I won’t say it was my finest work, but I did keep to the challenge, and can cross another NaBloPoMo off my list.

I have a lot of ACTUAL thoughts sort of percolating just under the surface of my working brain, but none of them are anywhere near ready for human consumption. I seem to have lost my ability to make a coherent thought in the craziness of November. I’m hoping that now that there are a few free weekends, I can actually get my brain booted back up, because I have the beginnings of ideas about things that take more than 200 words to say.

I have come to the realization that I need some eye cream. Anyone have one they like? Or two, one for day and one for night?

It’s been overcast and drizzly here, which added with my recent not-wellness has made me just want to curl up on the chair with a blanket, a cup of tea, and snuggle. You know what’s really hard to do with a 3 year old who has more energy than a hummingbird on crack? Sitting quietly with a hot beverage.

I love this age with Jackson, I really do, but sometimes I do wonder what it’s like to have a kid who will…sit still on occasion.

This may be my favorite thing about this week. If it’s real, I want to give this girl, and her illegal library, all the gold stars.

Related: I hate that I’m instantly skeptical of things I see online.

Happy Friday!

Yay! We did it! I don’t know how you did it with all your travel and life and work stuff, but you did!

I have yet to use any one eye cream long enough to have an opinion, but I can recommend a face cream that really tightens up my fine lines near my eyes. It’s the Alpha Hydrox AHA souffle. I got it through my beautyfix subscription but I think you can get it for like $16 on Amazon. I can’t recommend beautyfix enough if you want to try out a whole bunch of fancy skin and eye creams. I’ll find you a promo code if you are interested. (I need very little reason to go on and on about beauty stuff, sorry!)

Until I figure out what anti-aging product makes me break out in a rash, I’m hesitant to try products like that. However my mom loves her Merrill Norman stuff and Kiehl’s makes good products. They sell it at Nordstrom’s.
