Sundays

in Day in the Life

Sometimes Sunday is hectic, filled with the last remnants of the to-do list from the weekend–shopping and cleaning and errands and the remains of whatever responsibilities that need to be taken care of before the week gets into full swing again.

Sometimes Sunday is lazy, filled with the last gasp of relaxation–naps and pajamas until noon and reading in the sun and laying around in the final chance for decompressing before the week gets into full swing again.

Sometimes Sunday is playful, filled with the last bits of fun–playgrounds and beaches and parks and one last opportunity for amusement and entertainment before the week gets into full swing again.

Sometimes Sunday is melancholy, filled with sadness at the end of the weekend–the Sunday blues coloring everything with the knowledge of the impending week getting into full swing again.

Whatever the feeling, Sunday always feels very Sunday. It is an ending and a beginning. It is looking back on what you missed and looking forward to what you can still do.

It’s…Sunday.
