Every Day? Really?

So, the fact that I’m doing NABLOPOMO this year is kind of crazy. I have exactly ONE weekend in November that’s free. I’m traveling 8 days out of the month. I have 6 MAJOR projects/meetings/events at work. Taking on a blogging every day challenge is foolish.

But yet here I am. I’ve been struggling with some low level writer’s block, and what always works best for me to get past writer’s block is…to write. Shocking I know! So I’m hoping that this challenge will get my words flowing a little more again.

PLUS, it’s like a tradition. I’ve done it every year I’ve been blogging except the year Jackson was born (ah, yeah, blogging everyday with a 2 month old? Was NOT going to happen in this house), so I feel like I need to see if I can keep the streak alive. We’ll see what happens.

Let’s see what I can do, eh? (anyone have anything in particular they’d like me to write about? I’m not above taking requests!)

****

Totally unrelated, but I’m putting it here because I think there’s a time limit for Halloween pics after Halloween–Look, it’s us in costume! N.C. & I went for Don Draper & Joan Holloway (though I’m not sure I pulled off the attitude quite right), while Jackson was, of course, Thomas.

A surly Don catches a surly Train
(one of them was playing a character, the other was pissed
we were making him wait to go trick or treating)

My caption on this photo on Instagram was
“I think this reads more Lucy and Ricky than Joan and Don.” I stand by that statement.

The rare full body shot, mostly because a bunch of folks have asked about the dress. It’s a London Times I found at Marshall’s for a steal. Not the worst thing in my closet, that’s for sure.
(OMG, ignore my filthy floors. Dog, cat, toddler trifecta means they’re dirty the day I clean them.)

Your hair and dress are perfection, even outside of Halloween!

Blogging every day with a three month old is probably not any more doable, huh? :p
