Be bold, be brave, push past the limits of your comfort zone.
Take the first steps beyond what you know if there is a path beyond that beckons to you.
Don’t be rash, or stupid, or thoughtless–those things change boldness into recklessness, bravery into foolishness. You can push yourself without forgetting reality and the life that still exists beyond the new.
Remember that YOUR bold may be someone else’s tame, and vice versa. Bold isn’t about pushing THE boundaries, it’s about pushing YOUR boundaries.
Don’t let fear (of failure, of success, of looking foolish, of people judging you) keep you from being bold. That’s where the bravery part comes in. It doesn’t have to mean that you’re jumping out of airplanes, but instead that you’re pushing yourself to face the fears that keep you from doing the things you want for your life.
Think and ponder and plan, but don’t let that paralyze you into inaction. Planning has its place, but at some point action becomes the name of the game.
Don’t mistake other people’s dreams for your own. Reach for your own stars, not theirs. Be bold for you, NOT for them.
But don’t let other people’s dreams FOR you get in the way of YOUR dreams for you. Be bold for you, NOT for them.
There is no one way to be bold. There is no one way to be brave. There is no one way to push yourself. There is no one answer. But there are your answers, somewhere inside you. There are your ways, somewhere beyond where your comfort level lives. You just have to find them.
