My Momcomm Blog Critique

To paraphrase a common saying:

Marketer, heal thine own blog.

One of the things it’s sometimes hard for me to do is to step outside of myself when it comes to Ramble Ramble to figure out things that need fixing or what I need to work on. It’s easy to use my skills and look at things at work, or for clients, or for other people. But for me? For myself? Man, it’s hard to get outside my own head to be objective.

Which is why I am SO excited (and, uh, a little nervous) that today Melissa from Momcomm is giving Ramble Ramble a thorough, top to tail, get in the nooks and crannies blog critique. I’m stoked to have Melissa’s expert eye take a look at Ramble Ramble and give me her opinion on the things I’m not able to see for myself–or the kick in the pants to change the things that I’ve known I need to address but have hoped no one else would notice.

If you aren’t following Momcomm, and you want to learn more about the world of blogging and social media, you’re missing out. Besides the hugely helpful and popular Blog Critiques which are a useful tool to learn ways to improve your own blog through her comments about other blogs, Melissa shares her knowledge of marketing and social media in a friendly and helpful way. Whether it’s blog traffic, Twitter, commenting, or some other part of our blogging world, Melissa provides a TON of information that’s bound to help out. (Plus, she’s got an awesome ebook, DIY Blog Critique Workbook that gives you a plan to critique your own blog. Definitely worth checking out!).

Now that I’ve thoroughly convinced you of the awesome of Momcomm, head on over to check out what Melissa had to say about Ramble Ramble. I’d love to know your thoughts!

I actually learned a couple things while reading your critique! My blog is a hot mess and it’s on my list of things to improve this year. I’ll definitely be re-visiting Melissa’s site to see what other nuggets of wisdom she’s got…

Neat! I would love to get something like that for my blog – which is a hot mess, for sure!

I love MomComm’s blog critiques. She’s awesome. I hope you aren’t crying in a corner somewhere from being critiqued- gotta go see what she wrote. That’s exciting!
