I took this photo with my iPhone (duh, Instagram) while walking the dog. Looking at it, you’d never guess that I’m standing on a sidewalk with a road to my back. You’d never guess that there’s an apartment complex no more than 50 feet from this spot. You’d never guess that this is right near a corner of a busy intersection. I got down low to get this angle, and in doing that, I was able to change the feeling of the location.
I’m not good at changing my perspective sometimes. I get wrapped up in whatever thing I’m turning over and over in my mind and I see things the way they’re stuck in my head. I lose sight of the pretty freaking awesome things right in my path sometimes. And then I miss pretty flowers like these.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture. Such pretty flowers!
What a lovely reminder to be grateful and re-frame.
(I needed that.)
So pretty! Good point about changing perspective.
Sometimes a small change of perspective can mean all the difference in the world! love your picture 🙂
Amazing how different things can look from a different viewpoint:)
