Wonderful Wednesdays

It’s that time again, Wonderful Wednesdays, where we look at the good stuff to get over the hump of the week. And since it’s the countdown to the holiday, the whole house is sick and it’s been raining for 3 days straight, it comes at a good time! So let’s get to it shall we?

Despite the above maladies, I’ve got a pretty great wonderful this week:

For all intents and purposes, I’M DONE WITH ALL MY CHRISTMAS PREP!

Sorry, didn’t mean to yell, but it’s seriously that exciting!

All the out of state gifts were shipped this weekend and most have already been received at their final homes. My husband’s gifts are all wrapped and under the tree. Jackson’s gifts are all bought and 1/2 of them are wrapped. All stuff for stockings has been bought and is waiting for their warm fuzzy home on Friday night.

AND. We’ve decided to not do a big Christmas dinner. After the craziness of Thanksgiving, we decided to go low key, which means the only thing we have left to do is pick up the food. (ok, I AM still making a pecan pie, but if you’ve ever made pecan pie you know it’s the easiest freaking pie ever. I can do that Friday night no problem). There will be minimal cooking on Saturday, instead we’ll be relaxing and watching movies.

And really, three days before Christmas? This is all ALL KINDS of wonderful.

So folks, what’s wonderful in your world? Let me know in the comments, or blog it up and I’ll link you below!

I’m done with my holiday shopping too! I think that this is the first time that everything is wrapped and under the tree at least a couple of days before Christmas. Woo hoo!

Shopping – check! Shipping with packages arriving on time – check! Baking – mostly done! Wrapping – check! Blogging – check! Snuggling with B – check! It’s lookin’ good for the week! We won’t talk about the knitting and the sewing that still needs to get done…

Merry Christmas to you all!
