in Blogging & Social Media

Some housekeeping items, and we’ll return to our regularly scheduled programing:

  1. Facebook! I’ve gone and created a Facebook account for RambleRamble. I’m fiercely protective of my “personal” Facebook account–no blog friends, no pages, no likes, only family & RL friends. But I’ve been wanting a way to connect through that medium, so…we’re trying this out. If you’d like to be friends with me, you can find me here:
  2. Twitter! If we’re not connected on Twitter, let’s get on that ok? I spend a fair chunk of my day there, and I’m always looking for more people to help me stave  off boredom. You can find me here: RambleGinger
  3. RSS Feed! I may be one of the few people left who uses a feed reader, but if you’re like me and like everything in one concise place, my feed is where it’s at.
  4. Comments! Ok, this one is really just a note, for anyone who hasn’t noticed. I have a plugin installed on my site that allows me to reply to your comment & email you at the same time (cheers to ABDPBT for the tip on that one). SO, if you get an email from me about your comment, and you want to continue the conversation ON THE BLOG, you can come back here and reply. Or, if you want to continue the conversation JUST with me, you can reply to the email. Make sense? Oh, and I *think* that if you subscribe to comments it doesn’t email you a reply and a subscription. But I’m not positive…anyone gotten both?

Ok, back to the usual stuff now!

Ive never understood how people who DONT use a feed reader keep up with blogs? Do they visit each and every one each day? I am not nearly organized enough for all of that!

I think I’ve found you on Twitter. 😉

I use Google Reader–my life would be to chaotic without something like that!

Friend request sent! I’ve also got a fan page set up for ABDPBT now, although it’s driving me nuts now that I’ve been on Facebook all afternoon and I’ve already started regretting it.

I have been thinking about setting up Google Reader. And I’m thinking maybe it’s time for an iPad, even though the name is RIDICULOUS. I am still resistant to liking blogs, but it looks like I’m in the minority and might have to buck up and deal with the infiltration into every aspect of my life!
