So, did you know that having a kid can result in lots of laundry?

And worse, did you realize that almost all of that laundry will have stains?

And the worst news yet, did you realize I’m not talking about the kid’s clothes, but instead, I’m talking about yours?

Yeah, between spit up, breastmilk, and various…other…bodily fluids, my clothes have been stained for the last year. I rarely make it through a week without having AT LEAST 4-5 stains that originate somehow with the kid.

But, luckily my mom introduced me to this stuff right before Jackson got here.

My mom lives on a working horse ranch. There are lots of stains on lots of laundry, so when she said this stuff worked, I gave her the benefit of the doubt.  And sure enough, this has yet to fail me in the baby stain department. I’ve even used it for non-baby stains (hello, oily vinagrette I totally dropped all over my cleavage), and had success.

And I’m not one of those “spray it on the second it appears” people. I tend to be more along the lines of a “shoot, this shirt has been in the hamper for a week, and I totally forgot about that stain” type.  Even when I’ve missed the stain the first time round, sending the shirt (it’s usually a shirt) through the wash and the dryer, I’ve been able to go back and remove stains that would normally be “set”. It may take a time or two, but this stuff has saved every article of clothing I own.

Moms, and moms to be (and those who, like me, invariably drop food all over your clothes), if you don’t already have a stain treatment, and you want some of your clothes to be stain free–you should check this stuff out. I got mine at Walgreen’s, but I think you can find it at major retailers like Target and Walmart, or at some grocery stores. Trust me, it’s cheaper than replacing all your clothes.
