Wonderful Wednesdays!

After such a heavy few days, it’s MORE than time for some Wonderful Wednesdays action, don’t you think? This week has been a weird mixture of frustrating, emotional, sad, and at the same time, energizing.

That’s my wonderful for this week–I feel like I have a sense of purpose and energy around something besides Jackson for the first time in forever. Which frankly, is something I’ve needed for a long time. For me.

Yes, a lot of my drive to move and change my life is because of the kid. I want to spend more time with him, I want to show him as he grows up what it’s like to have passion and enthusiasm for the work that you do, and I want to be more mom and less corporate drone.

But at the end of the day, I want this for me. I want to be more than adequate. I want to feel excitement and joy at what I do. I want…more. And for once I’m ready to do whatever it takes to get myself more.

It’s refreshing waking up and being excited about stuff that’s for me and my own sense of self-worth. It’s refreshing to have Things! To Accomplish! That make me feel great when I accomplish them! It’s been entirely too long since I’ve felt that way.

So here’s to excitement. And energy. And purpose. Isn’t it wonderful?

Make sure you let me know what’s wonderful in your world, because a good dose of happy would do me good! Leave a comment or, if you want, post to your own blog with the badge below (just let me know in the comments or via email that you’ve written something up and I’ll link you up.)

This is great! And very encouraging. I’ve been a little mopey lately, and your attitude is a good kick in the butt to get up and do something!

Hello, Jackson’s mom. I really, really like your blog. Very nice and your photos are great. I will send you pictures soon, I have a difficult time with them as public items, they are part of the whole of our trip and in a smart folder by themselves. Kind of organized out of the way.
I have signed up with twitter-john3says-and have posted one historical tweet. I am trying to get Jonni’s tweeter going, I will let you know.
Have a fabulous Wednesday, happy writing, arting and drooling, more later, john (and Jonni)

What’s wonderful is how oddly comfortable with going to Texas again we are.

PS–I’d LOVE to meet and photograph a certain cute baby!
