15 things I learned (or relearned) this weekend

in Random

  1. Having a few people over, spur of the moment, on a Sunday afternoon is the best.
  2. Missing out on things I wanted to go to (when it’s my own fault) is NOT the best.
  3. Shorts that fit are a great thing.
  4. The internet is full of crazy, but damn if it isn’t interesting as all hell to watch.
  5. Having ideas is one thing, acting on them is another.
  6. I need to act on ideas I have INSTANTLY or they will be lost to the ether.
  7. My c-section scar bugs so much less when things are…um…groomed in that area. (TMI? Probably, but maybe my oversharing will help some other mom…)
  8. Taking pictures can be fun.
  9. Feeding the kid new foods at dinnertime (i.e. before bedtime) = not the best idea ever.
  10. I need more hats in my life.
  11. Headbands are helpful with short hair. I need some cute ones.
  12. Just because I don’t have time to create my own internet empire doesn’t mean I don’t have a million ideas on how to do it.
  13. Crotch rocket motorcycles apparently produce a sound at a pitch that scares the cat and wakes up the baby.
  14. Words with Friends is fun and addicting, even though my brain can only come up with words like cat & the.
  15. The weekends are just NOT long enough.

As always, more lists can be found over at Anna’s at abdpbt!

I adore spontaneous get togethers with friends!! 😀 And on Sundays they are actually the best!
And Words with Friends… even better! I’m completely addicted to that thing – if you ever want a game I’m lizziehancock 😀

Oh man, watching crazies on the Internet is even more fun if you do it while drunk with another person, haha!

Spontaneous social time is great. And Sunday afternoons are a must- does the childless world not know, that we need to start drinks by 3:00, have dinner by 5:30, and wrap it up by 7 so we can all get to bed early so we can wake up before the birds?
