Help me procrastinate!

in Blogging & Social Media

I’ve been reading blogs way longer than I’ve had my own. I go through phases of commenting (you know, as time allows). I like waking up to a reader that has several hundred new items. I’m weird, and crazy, yes, but in a good way.

Lately, my reader isn’t as full as I’d like it to be. Some of the blogs I followed have gone dark (boo), or are on hiatus (boo), or have transferred to a partial feed (sad to say, boo). A few have changed topics so drastically that I no longer have anything in common with them–something that I know has happened with my blog (I miss you old readers!), but that’s how life happens, ya know?

So anyway, my point is this–I need new blogs to read! I don’t have one “type” of blog I read–I have mommy blogs, and non-mommy blogs, and fashion blogs, and photography blogs, and food blogs (so dangerous at lunchtime!), and travel blogs, and…well, I think you get the point. I read a lot of blogs. SO, dear readers…load up my comment section with new blogs to read. If you’ve got a blog, let me know. If you have a favorite blog (or 12), share!

Maybe together we’ll all find new blogs to read and enjoy.

Reading and writing blogs is definitely fluid – constantly changing size and shape. I don’t have a blogroll for that reason – things are always changing! Instead, I’ll send you to my Replay posts (http://somispeaks.com/category/replay/) where I get a chance to highlight my favorite bloggers.

I’d recommend my blog but I tend to ramble a lot about anything and everything haha! If you fancy it, just click my name up there ^^

My reader is jam packed with blogs to read at the moment, so need a big catch up!!

I’m a big fan of my blog 🙂 And I’m pretty sure it feeds well into Google Reader. I also have another blog lifeafterthefire.blogspot.com but don’t update it quite as often.

Have you seen Cake Wrecks: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

I follow Matt Logelin’s blog- his wife died right after she gave birth. http://www.mattlogelin.com/

I don’t update as much as I should but I’m working on it. :0) I’ve lurked (read stalked) your blog for a while and thoroughly enjoy it.
Maybe you’ll enjoy mine the same. Maybe not but it’s worth a chance right?!

xoxo

You might already know of mine because of the ControverSunday thing, and maybe you even commented once? But, just in case, here it is.

Hi there! – Yep, it’s me again.

Here’s my blog address – you can follow my chronicle of my family’s attempt to reduce our carbon footprint over one year. We are buying only organic, supporting local farmers and businesses, reducing our waste and removing toxic, harmful and artificial products and chemicals from our home. Phew! – that’s a mouthful. 🙂 Oh, and, doing a little beekeeping on the side, too.
