Snippets of Randomosity

in Oh Baby!, Random

Due to a massive headache, I don’t have enough brain power for a full post. Buuuuttttt, I’ve had random snippets of ideas and thoughts in my head all day, so for fun, let’s share those!

  • We may have found a new place to live, that would be an awesome space, with normal landlords (not the jackasses I reference over here), and as a bonus, it’s only a short 10-15 minute drive to the beach. However, we haven’t officially been approved and I’m nervous about that.
  • I can’t figure out a good way to tell the majority of my coworkers that I’m pregnant. We’re not really close, and this isn’t really a gossipy office (believe it or not). I’m starting to think email, but then I wonder, do they even care?
  • I really should do something with the photos I have in the camera. I have some shots from New York that I haven’t even downloaded yet.
  • I’ve been a bad commenter lately. I’m still reading the same insane number of blogs–around 150 give or take–but I don’t know if I’ve commented on more than one or two of them in the past month. I’m lame.
  • It’s not so much that I’m showing at 15 weeks, as it is that I can no longer hide my pre-pregnancy fat. Sucking it in is a thing of the past (and future I hope). But at least now I can buy maternity clothes and blame it on the baby.
  • The best part of my commute everyday lately involves seeing the sun setting over the ocean 3 times on the way to pick N.C. up.
  • Fights on Twitter are funny. As long as I’m not part of them.
  • This is why I love Jon Stewart and the Daily Show writers and researchers.

Ah, that’s all my poor little brain can handle today. Let’s all hope that I wake up tomorrow with this insane headache dulled a bit…

P.S. Thanks so much for the congratulations on my announcement! We’re obviously thrilled, and in a weird way, I’m excited to share it with you guys!!

The whole Jon Stewart/CNBC thing is hilarious. I just saw parts of it tonight on the actual TV for the first time. Hilarious.

Seeing the sunset sounds amazing. I could use that on my commute.

I think your coworkers will figure it out eventually.

Or you can just walk in one day, and just stop in the middle of the hall, and announce you’re knocked up and contratulations should come in the form of pickles and cupcakes.

Comment forms should have spellcheck.

I was so sick this week that not only did I miss your announcement, but I had to go back through your comments just to make sure I didn’t actually read it and comment and promptly forget about it. (And I don’t even have pregnancy brain to use as an excuse!) So, congrats! And I say if you don’t care about your co-workers all that much, don’t say a thing. So long as the people who need to know are in the know, that’s all that matters. Plus, it’ll become evident soon enough.

SoMi’s Nilsa´s last blog post..Bullets
