Man, I’ve been a bad little blogger. I’ve been neglecting my blog, I still haven’t posted photos of the horses and such from Christmas, what I am writing is kind of…eh, and I haven’t been active on any of the social sites I’m a part of. Some of it makes sense–I’ve been busy at work for the first time in a long while, so I don’t have time during the day for blogginess. And with the Wii Fit & other things taking up time at the end of the day, it’s been a struggle to find the time/motivation. But some of it is just laziness that I can’t seem to fight right now. I know that will change, but for the time being, my posting regularity may decrease a bit.
One of the the things I refuse to go slack on, though, is my Monday lists. For some reason, this has been a favorite feature of mine (courtesy of abdpbt of course) for a while, and I feel if I were to let this slip, I’d be spiraling down into oblivion on this here blog. However, that doesn’t mean I always have a stellar idea for a list. As a matter of fact, on days like today, when my brain is consumed with business travel, conferences, trade shows, and logistics (shipping several hundred pounds of books across the country on a deadline takes some organizing), my ideas for a list are…well…kind of pathetic.
So today, I give you my list of rejected lists, with a promise for better content in coming days. I hope.
- Top 5 ways that working on a holiday doesn’t suck. Oh, wait, there’s really only one, and that’s less traffic.
- Things I feel when the Wii Fit says it’s judgmental little “oh” when I step on the balance board.
- Top 8 things overheard at the baby shower I attended this weekend (the funniest of which was a terror filled response to seeing a baguette)
- 6 songs that are stuck in my head (yes, concurrently. It’s like a bad dj sample in my brain).
- The joys of living in Southern California in January (sorry everyone else, it’s still warm here).
I can’t believe I’m even going to publish this drivel. Seriously, go see Anna for some better lists, and check back later to see if my brain has been returned to me.

You think the Wii Fit is a little judgemental? I take it it a totally different way … I think the Wii Fit is TURNED ON! =)

I always forget that other people DON’T live here until they go on and on about how cold it is and/or digging their winter clothes out of storage.
One wardrobe here, thanks.

I love the lists – especially the baby shower one!
A co-worker of mine is planning the 1 year birthday party for her son. With a guest list that is twice the size of my wedding.
The whole thing.
I can only imagine the baby shower comments lol
