Lessons learned

So, I’m learning lessons about photography, my camera, and photos by trial and error. I think I just learned a big one.

Be very sure that the image you’re deleting has actually been downloaded to the computer before you delete it from the camera.

I lost a few of my favorite photos from this weekend, which is kind of bumming me out because I thought they were pretty awesome. Or, more accurately, pretty awesome for my ability level. I guess that’s what I get for trying to download all my photos from the weekend before we left for work this morning.

What can I say, I don’t function so well before my morning caffeine.

Anyway, here’s a look at some of the photos I took this weekend that I didn’t delete in error. I’m definately starting to learn more about the camera, and what seems to work and what doesn’t…not that I’m anywhere near comfortable with it, but I’m learning. (can you tell I like the macro settings?)

That’s my favorite one of the bunch too!
