Let me apologize in advance for this post. I’m about to be one of those girls. I know there are a lot of people who can’t stand what I’m going to share. I can’t help it, but I am sorry.
Just look at that face and you’ll see the problem…
I know, I know. But in my defense, this little monkey is often the only interesting thing in the house. And since I’m trying to figure out my new camera and teach myself the basics of photography at the same time, I’m in desperate need for interesting subjects. And plus he’s so pretty.
He can be a difficult subject to shoot though. He likes to move a lot (I’m not so good with the action shots). He tends to like to get right up next to my face and away from the camera lens AFTER I’ve got the shot all figured out (I’m not so quick with the camera controls yet). Oh and there’s the little matter of him being a little shit. Wait, that doesn’t really have to do with the photography thing. But it is true.
Oh, who am I kidding, we have more pictures of the monster than we do of ourselves, scenic vacations and most likely our wedding combined. How can I help myself?

Don’t let the photos fool you into thinking he listens to me–he just loves to be the center of attention, so the camera works wonders for him!
